Blue River Resort & Hot Springs is a mountain rainforest resort in the jungle on the north side of Rincon de la Vieja volcano in Costa Rica across from the blue volcanic river, rio Celeste. Our jewels are the natural mineral "green" hot springs found on the resort property and the rainforest botanical gardens. The hot springs flow like a river around the restaurant and culminate at the bar as a cascading waterfall. Each boutique cabana contains two 720 square foot hotel rooms. The rooms contain two queen size beds, mini bar, safe, satellite TV, coffee maker, ceiling fans air conditioning. Location

Blue River Resort & Hot Springs is about an hour by car or shuttle from Liberia, Costa Rica, and the gateway for the beach resorts of Guanacaste. Leave behind the dry hot beach weather and ascend into cool lush green rainforest. The drive is spectacular. We are at base of Rincon de la Vieja volcano national park, along the Caribbean (north) side. Here the surroundings include views of the volcano, jungles, grand waterfalls and blue volcanic rivers.
