These pictures are just a taste of what is in-store for you at the resort. All pictures were taken with a basic $200 digital camera and are not enhanced. The color of the natural mineral hot springs really is tinged green. Our blue volcanic rivers Rio Celeste and Rio Penjamos are truly blue. We don't feel we have done justice to the pools, the flowers, the butterflies, the landscape and the overall experience you will have. So after you visit please share your photos so we can post better ones.

Blue River Resort & Hot Springs officially opened to day-visitors in December 2009 and as a hotel in February 2010. Construction has stopped but our plan is to continue to expand the number of hotel rooms and add tours as demand increases. Everything possible is being done to protect the environment by keeping as many trees as possible, not disturbing the natural contours of the land, using environmentally friendly products and maintaining and enhancing the natural habitat for animals. In fact many items on the menu at the Tiki Bar and Restaurant are grown here. Your experience will be exciting, memorable and genuine.
