Options: Transportation from Liberia and Guancaste beaches & hotels like Grand Papagayo, Coco beach, Tamarindo, Pinilla or Conchal.
Pick Up: 7:00 am (determined by location)
Return: Arrive back at about 6:30 pm

Get your adrenaline flowing for a tour along nine long zip lines, woven over Costa Rica’s Rincon de la Vieja in Guanacaste. Canopy across waterfalls and through the jungle. Our longest line measures over 600M! To complete this adventure, swing down from the trees like Tarzan. Next on the tour, experience the breathtaking blue volcanic river, cascading waterfalls, exotic plants and wildlife. Then to the Blue River Resort for tours of the hot springs, mud baths, botanical gardens, butterfly farm and much more.

You will be visiting the Carribean side of majestic Rincon de la Vieja Volcano National Park and that means leaving the hot dry beaches for the jungle rainforest and spectacular views of majestic Rincon de la Vieja volcano. Only on this (north) side of the park, can you experience the briliant blue volcanic rivers and“emerald green” natural mineral hot springs. Spending time at Blue River Resort & Hot Springs, includes soaking in four gorgeous natural mineral “green” hot spring pools, taking mud baths, touring botanical gardens with over 700 varietals and the butterfly farm and swimming in the fresh water pool with bullet waterslide plus much more.

Itinerary

  • 7:00 am: Pick up from hotels in Tamarindo, Pinilla or Conchal. Or approximately 8:20 am for hotels in the Coco Beach area.
  • 10:00 am: Arrival at Blue River Resort & Hot Springs for a welcome cocktail at the Spa. Change clothing to prepare for your first adventure.
  • 10:30 am: Depart for a short drive to the canopy adventure. Then to private, Blue River Park to enjoy an out-of-this-world, river, the Rio Pénjamo which possesses incomparable beauty. Hike along trails bordering the the blue volcanic. You will be be amazed by river and the tropical rain forest. The follow 4 different waterfalls, a natures own water slide and make your way to the source of the blue water.
  • 12:30 pm: Return to Blue River Resort to enjoy a delightful lunch à la carte chosen from a special menu for our clients.
  • 1:30pm, After enjoyment lunch, we move to the amazing Botanical gardens where our client will enjoy approximately 700 plants varietal, heliconias, fruit-bearing trees, timber-yielding trees, orchids, hummingbird garden, tropical fish lake and then visit our expectacular buttefly garden with nearly 15 species of buterflies, a population of 700 butterflies daily.
  • 2:15 pm Relaxation time is giving to enjoy our natural green minerals hot springs pools.
  • 4:00pm We return towards the beaches where we will be arriving at around 6:30 in the evening
