The Tiki Bar and Restaurant overlooks majestic Rincon de la Vieja volcano, which serves continental and local cuisine. Choose from large selection of refreshments and delicious meals by our renowned chef. Our prices are reasonable. Entrance and LunchAt your option, we offer a package included in the entrance fee, that includes a delicious lunch served between 10 am to 2 pm. Come on horseback or by car. Getting HereWe pick-up from the beach resorts of Guanacaste and Liberia. By car, from Liberial, Guanacaste International Airport, the drive takes less than 75 minutes. You'll be leaving the hot dry climate behind and entering a lush mountain rainforest, ascending through gorgeous scenery and then descending into to a tropical lush moderate temperature. The signage along the road is clearly marked from the Liberia airport, along the Pan American Highway and to the resort. Once you leave the highway, your will witness the gorgeous views of Santa Rosa and Cacao mountain range on your left and majestic Rincon de la Vieja national park on the right. The rolling dry pasture land will begin to give way after climbing to about 700 meters. Then there are a series of hills and a slow descent into a valley. The road winds its way to the the north (Caribbean) base of Rincon de la Vieja. The humidity rises, the weather cools and greenery becomes thicker. Before you know it, you are in the rainforest, crossing Rio Celeste, a gorgeous blue volcanic river. A few hundred meters along the river, is Blue River Resort & Hot Springs. See map and directions. Take in a whole day of activities or just relax. Being surrounded by Rincon de la Vieja volcano views and lush vegetation will immediately transport you to a world of enchantment.
